Testimonials
I truly don’t have the words to fully express what God did through Shonda in one of the most overwhelming moments of my life. My father is currently battling cancer, and during this particular day, everything felt like it was spiraling. He was in a very dark place mentally, hopeless, depressed, and suicidal. The police were at his home, trying to get him to go to the hospital, and I felt completely helpless. I had already spent days pouring into him, praying, encouraging, speaking life, but nothing seemed to break through. At that moment, I was sitting in a parking lot, frozen. I didn’t know what to do next. Even going to him didn’t feel like it would change anything because of how deep his despair had become. Then I got the call confirming what I feared, that he needed immediate help. The weight of it all, on top of everything else I was carrying, was just too much. And then, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart: “Be still… and call Shonda.” When I called, she answered, by the grace of God. Not only did she answer, but the Lord made a way for her to be in a quiet place where she could fully pour into me. From the moment she spoke, there was a peace that came over me that I know only comes from Jesus. Shonda didn’t just offer advice, she ministered to my heart. She spoke with such calm, wisdom, and compassion. She gently reminded me to love my father where he is, to cherish the time I still have with him, and to shift my focus back to gratitude, that he is still here. She pointed me back to Christ, back to peace, back to truth in the middle of chaos. What felt like a crushing, chaotic moment was completely transformed. Through her obedience to the Lord and the anointing on her life, she helped lift a weight I didn’t think I could carry. It was as if God used her to step right into that moment with me and bring restoration to my heart. I am beyond grateful for Shonda and for Sacred Care Transitions. This is not just a service, it is a ministry. If you are walking through an end-of-life situation, or even the fear and uncertainty that comes with it, I cannot recommend her enough. She carries the heart of Christ and creates space for the Holy Spirit to move in the moments we need Him most. All glory be to Jesus for what He did that day. J Drgaer
