End of Life Family Support System

Compassionate End-of-Life Doula Support When You Need It Most
Sacred Care Transition provides empathetic, non-medical End-of-Life Doula companion support for individuals and families navigating one of life’s most sacred and emotional transitions.
Rooted in presence, dignity, and emotional comfort, creating a peaceful space during the final stages of life

Meet Shonda
Sacred Care Transition was founded by Shonda Gibbs following her own caregiving journey. Through firsthand experience, she understands the emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges families face when caring for a loved one approaching the end of life.
Her mission is simple: to ensure no family walks this journey alone.
As an End-of-Life Doula, Shonda does not replace hospice or medical care. Instead, she provides compassionate companionship, emotional support, and a calming presence during life's final transition.

Serving with Presence, Compassion & Grace
Having walked this journey herself, Shonda understands the emotions, uncertainties, and challenges families face when caring for someone nearing the end of life. Her passion is to provide comfort, compassionate support, and a steady presence.
Even when individuals are no longer verbally responsive, many families find peace in knowing their loved one is not alone. The moment Shonda walks in the room that will be her goal, with a gentle introduction to your loved one, she will provide an empathetic presence to your family and hold your hand through this sacred journey.

Doula Tools:
The Sacred Care Transition Toolkit
Families may also receive access to the Sacred Care Transition Toolkit. A thoughtfully created resource designed to support caregivers emotionally, spiritually, and practically throughout the end-of-life journey.
The toolkit includes:
Caregiver organization tools
Respite coordination sheets
Encouragement and caregiver support resources
Preparation checklists
Family and friend sign-up forms
Anticipatory grief support
Practical guidance for navigating in-home hospice care
The purpose of the toolkit is to help reduce overwhelm while allowing caregivers an opportunity to receive support from others during a deeply exhausting season.
